This interview is with one of my favorite Greek players, jakegate7 . He's the person with biggest damage, one of the biggest amounts of xps and BHs in this game and there's not a lot of people that care so much for this game. I know that there are some "haters" so I beg you not to comment if all you want is to spread hate. Even people that know him often seem to misunderstand Jake and I really hope this interview clarifies that at least for a bit. Thank you!

1. Hello my dear friend jakegate7 !
1. Hello my friend Orlandio , thank you for your invitation

2. Let's start with the beginnings - What's the story of you joining e-Sim and what captivated you at first?
2. My first account - JakeGR - was born at day 8. I registered because a friend of mine asked me a favor. After two months i gave e-sim a second chance and jakegate7 was born. In the first 2-3 months i was 2-clicker and spent my money on stupid stuff (q5 weapons etc). I was briefly a member of Blue Brothers and then i had a chance to an become officer of Greek National MU . I stayed there for 2 months and in that point i learned most things about e-sim. After National Guard i joined Omerta (best mu in e-sim). It was a great experience because they gave me the opportunity to become leader and learn bunch of stuffs and of course interact with some wonderful people.

3. At which point did you start building your damage and was it a deliberate decision to be NO 1 in worldwide damage stats? How did you fund your fighting?
3. Nice question. My task was to beat the game. I have played a lot of browser games in my internet life but every time i had the problem that money wins everything. I loved e-sim cause you couldn't have an advantage with money. My first thought was to become a bh hunter, back then bh hunting was more profitable. but because i started at day 64 i had significantly less strength than other players so it was difficult to earn BHs. My next thought was to make a company, my first company was a Q1 weapon in Greece. After two weeks i realized that i was loosing money instead of gaining, cause i had 7 workers (a rookie mistake). At that point i realized that i need to make q5 companies but q5 companies cost a lot. So i made a script for inviting people. I earned some golds, created some q5 companies and after some time i had the luxury of fighting with Q5 weapons every day. Sadly the economy system of e-sim is flawed , nothing has changed in 3 years and making profit from companies is difficult. So i had to turn back to bh hunting. i have to admit it's really fun getting 21 BHs in 24 hours but i got bored. It's not the same as my first bh.

4. You have been a CP. What was that about?
4. I candidated for CP two times but i lost my first time by 6 votes. Before i became candidate i worked as MoE, MoD, vCP etc. You need this experience before you try to become CP. My only reason for becoming CP was to see the game from a different perspective. I get bored really easily so i try to do a lot of different stuff in my e-sim life. Becoming cp was one of them. My time as a CP was great but very time consuming. I remember spending about 10+ hours every day. There were times that i was late for 1 hour in a rantevouz 'cause i had to give supplies for a battle. This is the reason why I didn't try for CP or any other position again after my term ended.

5. You're one of the biggest critics when it comes to game staff and many of the updates they introduce. What has made you distrust them?
5. I don't think i am the only one that is unhappy with the game development. Though some updates were really good, most of the new ones force people to buy gold. Don't forget that money wins everything. Especially when you play a game for so long you expect a different treatment from game devs. Something for the newbies of primera: E-Sim was born and evolved from players that left eR because they got sick with gold buyers. Every new update makes e-sim more like eR. I don't think we are far away when they will start selling medkits. This is one of the reasons they made the change on special items page.

6. Have you got any other interests in e-Sim besides fighting?
6. Right now i am even bored to fight. After 2+ years continuously fighting every day i forgot to fight 4 days ago. For me it's a sign that i stopped caring about this game. I will probably stop e-sim but because i have spent so many hours on this account, it's not gonna be an easy decision. It seems like addiction but actually it's not. I still have my hopes that they will build a new module that will make this game interesting.

7. I want some numbers now. Approximately how much damage do you do every day? How many BHs do you earn per day? How much does your daily fighting cost?
7. My calculations are 3 months old so i don't know the prices right now. And don't forget that premium account didn't shorten the debuff duration 3 months ago.
To achieve max damage every day you need equipments with 40% avoid change, 0% miss chance and approx. 45% max damage. In every three days you need to activate Steroids/Tank and if you change CS you can also take Bunker or Sewer guide.
On the first day you activate the above buffs and the second day you activate extra spa and vacations. The third day you don't fight at all. Believe me or not, you make more damage like this and you spend less money than fighting everyday with all your limits. I did this from the first day they introduced special items. A lot of players realized that after a long time but it gave me the time to reach them on global stats.
As far for my stats. My average damage was 10kk every day and i need about 80-90g every three days (so it's around 30g per day). In the good days i took about 14+ BHs every three days but there were days that i took 3-4.
My best day was 21 BHs in 24 hours. I didn't use medkits, only buffs. Sometimes you need to be lucky to get some free BHs.

8. Who are your favorite persons in e-Sim? Also, we all know you only take fellow Greeks as friends but do you choose between them? (you obviously don't have all the Greek citizens in your friends list)
8. Orlandio of course is my favourite person. Well most of the guys i liked were in Omerta. I remember being on chat for 3-4 hours and having fun with people from different cultures and ages. I don't like all the Greek players, there are (or were) people that had different opinions/behavior. Most of the times i troll these people or just ignore them. I have to admit trolling is much more fun though. As far for friend requests - right now they're closed.

9. Name 3 great Greeks.
9. Only three? That's tough... For my Greek friends, this is my opinion. Don't get mad if you don't like the names.
1) Pythagoras
2) Plato
3) And of course Alexander the Great

10. Thank you mate, you did great!
10. Thank you Orlandio , it was my pleasure!

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
