In the recent team tournament, Bosnia and Herzegovina showed its true mettle when it came to competing with countries whose population at times doubled theirs and yet they kept them at par by the virtue of its true national spirit and players who were always as lethal as venom is. At Primera, the population of the country has yet to cross the 100 mark while it has 94 citizens at the moment. The strength of the country can be estimated from the fact that the first 40 players of the country are well above 10,000 XP (Level 15) mark and thus can inflict a serious damage if collectively come together at any country. The country includes some brilliant players of the game such as
born in Prijedor who is part of Elite-100 Club while it also includes brilliant names like Stane Vukombe, gamaran, Alcibiades Scambonides, Siegfried, PatZerinjo, Predsednik and Skull.
Moreover, the country has 6 parties, and of those six, 5 are as active as anything. Fittingly, the political setup of the country is very active and it has been rightly observed the top four parties are competing among themselves to grab the largest share within the political setup of the country. Our latest congress election stats revealed 30 candidates that competed among themselves for the top 20 slot on the bank of around 51 active voters. Of the latest elections following parties were found to be active (order given according to the number of seats secured), these are
1. Странка Републике Српске
2. Bosanski Nacionalni Pokret
3. Državni front
4. Jannissaries
5. Sprdoloska stranka Bosne
The political setup of the country seemed to be very complex with a clear interference of Turkish elements in the country politics. Despite the interference, the true representatives of the country found much popularity which is evident from the fact that “Странка Републике Српске” and “Bosanski Nacionalni Pokret” are the most successful parties of the country, however we believe that Bosanki and Sprdoloska has a potential of one more seats than that they earned i.e. 7 and 2 seats respectively, while DRZAVNI and Jannissaries have been lucky to grab one extra seat than what they should have earned as suggested by their vote bank. Let us spare a moment and look into the details on the functioning of each party in the elections and then we can talk about the strategies and possibilities that can be applied on these.
[b]Странка Републике Српске
Party Strength --------------------- 17 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 6 (13 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 0 (0 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 13 Votes
As stated from the facts above, 13 members were active out of 17. Had the party been more active, it could have easily fetched around 8 seats in the elections. However, at present setup, with 13 active members, the party was undoubtedly the best party when it came to coordination. Realizing the fact that they have 13 votes, the party did exceptionally well to grab all its seats in the elections. In fact, no party could have done better with the given number of votes. It shall also be noted that the party is the 2nd strongest party of the country both in terms of members as well as strength and yet it outperformed “DRZAVNI FRONT” the strongest party of the country. With its great coordination effort, the party deserves appreciation and that said, the party is on course of right path. It is expected that the given strategy of the party will earn them more members in future, but not without a competition from another party which we shall discuss next.
Bosanski Nacionalni Pokret
Party Strength --------------------- 16 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 6 (15 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 1 (1 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 16 Votes
The party is one of few parties across the country all of whose members are active. Now that is an achievement in itself. I have already pointed out what I believe, that is, the party can easily grab another seat with a little bit of more effort on its coordination. At the moment, the party has 16 voters, and if proper planning and coordination is to take place it can even secure 8 seats in the upcoming elections. What is more great about this party, is the fact that it is the 3rd strongest party in term of members as well as strength and yet at the moment, the party seems to show the highest potential among all the parties of the country. We wish good-luck to the party and its members with an important piece of advice i.e. Plan, Coordinate, Expand and Perform.
Državni front
Party Strength --------------------- 22 Members
Candidates Won ------------------ 5 (9 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 3 (2 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 11 Votes
With 5 candidates to win out of 9 is not an issue, however, the fact that DRZAVNI is the strongest party of the country in terms of members and strength, then one feels inclined to look into ‘what went wrong?’. Not to blame the coordination, it will be surprising for many people that the party is still BRILLIANT at coordination. What the main issue the party is facing is the number of active members. With only 11 voters, the party can pull 6 seats at max. Yes, the perfect coordination may have fetched them 6 seats, but with the current uncertain setup of the party, the party has done extremely well. Moreover, we will advice the party to either increase the activity amongst its members or it shall consider firing some members who are no more active.
Jannissaries
Party Strength --------------------- 1 Member
Candidates Won ------------------ 2 (3 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 5 (2 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 5 Votes
It seems that the party is the party of Turks rather than of Bosnians with its both winner candidates to opt out for turkish nationality rather than staying within the counry. With only one member left now, rest of the six people left the party for good. While 4 of them went back to turkey, the remaining 2 are without any party at the moment. As an outsider, it is very difficult to understand the position of the party in the country, but at first glance, and a neutral person I am, I believe the intrusion of foreigners through this party. With only one member left now, the future of the party seems bleak. Our advice for the party is clear; Dissolve, either by merger or total dissolution. Merger seems a really good option since it will allow you to reanimate again in the future if the conditions become conducive for the them.
Sprdoloska stranka Bosne
Party Strength --------------------- 6 Member
Candidates Won ------------------ 1 (5 Votes)
Candidates lost -------------------- 1 (1 Vote)
Total Votes -------------------------- 6 Votes
I believe that the party will be disappointed with their results in the elections since not only they had 6 voters, but it also 2 candidates to work on. Had there been a better coordination 2 votes would have been enough for each candidate. Moreover, 3 candidates seem to be a likely plan in the future, however that cannot be done without a proper coordination. The party shall realize that a total of 51 voters means 3 candidates per a candidate to be the winning combination. And with a little bit of luck, even 2 votes can do a job. However, one candidate will result in a sure loss.
OVERALL, 30 candidates stood for the Elections of whom 20 grabbed seats with 45 votes, while the 10 unlucky candidates secured 6 votes only. Dissolution of one party seems to be a likely scenario in the future unless the party totally shuffles its setup. Moreover, a likely tug of war will rise in the future between the parties who tied this time and a healthy competition will push the country politics towards a positive direction. We will wish
GOODLUCK to BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA in the future and believe that the country has the potential to improve.
