Hello Citizens of Ireland,
I was due to release this article last week but due to time constraints I was unable to do so, as of the ninth of December I took over from
★ DUB who was taking some time of from his duties as Minister of the Economy. On behalf of the Irish public and governments past and present I would like to thank DUB for his excellent work undertaken to keep our economy progressing, making sure our companies were running at peak levels and keeping the monetary market at reasonable levels. DUB did this job for a long time and that time and effort should be commended as not many would be willing to do this.
When asked by our President
Federico Rosenfeld would I be willing to take over the role I had to consider the things needed to be done, it is not a job one should just jump into without understanding the roles you need to do. After a bit of time to check everything over I was happy to firstly be offered the role and secondly to take our President up on his offer. Since taking up the role as MoE the first thing I have done was doing a worldwide check for prices of Q5 food so that we can sell our excess production abroad to bring in some money to the state, this price check was done for every nation wiped or not. This is so that I can make sure I get every extra euro for our food, some markets are miles more profitable than others so you need to know the price differences before putting offers up. To give those reading an example, when selling in Ireland we make on average of 0.057g per food sold after taxes whereas in one market I have been selling we were making 0.13g per food, a difference of 0.073g. This is no small amount, some of the markets we sell in give us an average of 0.07g so to make that amount over the usual is in my eyes fantastic. Now we wont always get that much value but I will always be looking to make that amount when selling abroad, this in turn allows us to continue selling cheap on the Irish market thus this benefits the entire nation.
Our companies were run very well by DUB and I am looking to keep this trend going, there will be minor hiccups but these will be minor. Members who work for the state companies will have noticed one or two issues and those buying from the home market will also have noticed but these are just teething problems we saw while I was getting the hang of the way to run our economy. I ask the members of our country to stand by me and I will do my up most to continue what DUB has done, this kind of role is a long road. I will be looking at it like that, its a long term plan and I will be working on a daily basis to get our nation as much income as possible while continuing to keep cheap goods on our home market so that every citizen from the highest levels to the newest players sees the benefits.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
