Wow, this weekend sure has been productive - 2 interviews in a row.
Even so I am thinking I'm going crazy. You see, I believe I have just finished an interview with the PRESIDENT of United Kingdom. Yet everyone knows - UK's got their prime minister, their Queen and their corgi dogs (which actually belong to the Queen but who the marshmallow cares). Even the name of the country is United KINGDOMS, not United Republics That All Share the Same President. We've got United States of America for that. So I don't know... You judge!

1. Heya mate, how dow do ya do!
1. Hey! I'm ok, thanks. It's good to be here with you.

2. How has the first day of presidency been for you? You've also been a CP before, when was that?
2. I'm the very first UK CP. I registered on Day 1 and I happened to be the first UK player. My second term was a month ago and this is my third one. The first days of a CP term are very important, at least they are to me. The better start one have the better they will finish

3. I think you're the very first player I've interviewed that has born as a president. How did you find this game and how tough was ruling the country while still learning the game?
3. It wasn't that hard at all. It was presented as eR v1 and that's why I joined. It was close enough to v1 therefore I didn't have alot of trouble understanding its mechanics. Ruling the country wasn't that hard. If i remember right we had ~ 10k gold on the monetary market (every country had) and we only needed to print money and buy the gold at cheap rates. We were one of the first countries in the e-world who managed to take a second high region (the Canadian high grain) which boosted our economy additionally. The battles were simple, 1k dmg was enough for a BH and 6k was plenty to win a round. UK was a great country, we had alot of active people, mainly because the game was new and lots of players frustrated with eRep wanted a change.

4. Why were you away from presidency for such a long time and what did you do during that period?
4. I quit the game for 3-4 months. I was graduading with Honours and I had an exam that I had to pass with excellet score. So I pretty much did nothing meanwhile but study. After that I was feeling a bit rusty, therefore I spent a 2 months as a MoFA and then 3-4 as MoD. Now I'm back on track and do everything I can to help UK and the friends I made in-game.

5. What are your plans for this up-coming/on-going term?
5. I can't really tell. There's a meeting of DoW (the alliance UK is a member of) and we will decide then what to do on alliance level As a CP, I plan to stimulate the new players by different forum and in-game games, competitions, etc. Also, during my last term I managed to raise alot of money for a reform in the army. However, I had no time to make that reform so if the money are still there I will finish what I started. Here's a good moment to THANK all UK CPs, because I usually spend gold while I'm CP. I need to thank the previous CPs for saving some. I feel guilty in front of them.

6. Have you gained enemies with that spending "addiction" and how are the things about opposition and/or PTOers in the country overall?
6. I don't think anybody realized how much I spent because I always tried to spend as much as I earn. I didn't spend money that were raised by the previous CPs. I just didn't contribute to the cause by saving more. I had a great cabinet, people were working, I had no slackers therefore I don't think I made any enemies among the UK society. So far we've had just 2-3 PTOers who caused trouble and 1 UK troll. We're very cautious who we let in because, let's face it we're not a big country, even a small number of PTOers can cause a great deal of trouble.

7. Who are the enemies of the British empire? Wait, let me guess - the Irish?
7. Naturally. Over the course of the e-history we've had a lot of conflicts (a lot of which ended up with war) with them. We've been in good relation with them since WiC was created. UK was a member of that alliance (thanks to our buddies from France and Sweden) and Ireland became a pro-country because they were (and I think they still are) Spanish Colony. We couldn't keep that war going. Meanwhile UK was at war with Benelux and the Irish helped us a lot, although a few days back we were fighting each other, at that moment we found ourselves shoulder to shoulder fighting the Crusaders. I was amazed how fast they managed to forget and forgive. I think if UK were in the Irish position we wouldn't have helped that much. At this point UK is in DoW and unfriendly countries (in theory) are Ireland, Norway and Canada, although so far neither of them has shown hostility towards UK.

8. Which people have helped you the most in your CP services?
8. I can't name them all. If I miss somebody - please comment under the article or contact me for 1g compensation. I'd like to thank all UK players and all my friends - you guys are great! Special thanks goes to CBall , law7441 , cc92140 , Lundenor , daenyboi , Wilworin , trimmarN , Luke Warm , BestServedIceCold and all ministers in my cabinet(s). Also, special thanks to an e-dead friend of mine - Ranflax .

9. The most important question there can ever be asked - what country has the 31 greatest musicians ever?
9. The UK of course The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Elton John, etc. And my personal favourite - The Queen.

10. If you say so! Thank you for this wonderful interview, CastoriousBG , you're a really great guy!
10. Thank you very much! It's been a great pleasure and I'm not saying that out of politeness. I hope that goes to the top!

It was the matter of time for me to interview the British... Now I'm waiting for the next time I'll do it.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
