This is another round of my suggestions to improve Primera. Please do read the other, older articles, I'd like to know what you think! About the Crime and Punishment feature, please read the previous article to get a better idea of what I will be saying here.

Basically, there are 3 ways to punish a crime:
1. Fines - players have to pay up to either the offended player, or to the offended country, or maybe the money will just disappear. This will be paid in Gold.
2. Imprisonment - your account gets imprisoned, meaning that you can't work or train or fight for a certain duration. Several days, maybe, depending on your crime.
3. Public Execution - your account gets banned, you lose all money and items, no warning there, your name and crimes are announced to the entire world so that others will learn to not copy you for the crimes you committed.

Regarding Fines, someone might just empty their Gold first so that they don;t have to pay up. Let's say a player commits a crime, his punishment is a 3Gold fine, but he already emptied his account so that he loses nothing. Here's my solution, instead of 0G still being 0G but he is cleared of the crime, it becomes -3G instead. So if he ever gains Gold, he would still lose 3 Gold. The offended player or country, however, still gets the 3G immediately, not after the criminal earns Gold again.

I think a very serious crime that must be punishable by law is betraying your allies. This is when players attack their allied countries while helping the enemy countries. What's the use of signing a Mutual Protection Pact, if you get renegade soldiers!? There should be a message warning them: "This is an allied country! You can only assist them, not fight them!" If they still decide to attack, they should be punished. I met a lot of players who do this to get loot. They tell me that they are new to the game and just pressed the wrong button. (like I believe that b*llsh*t, you're level 8 and you don't know what country to fight for!? or you forgot what button to press!?)

In line with this, I think there should be an additional Alliance System, that prevents players of a country from attacking an allied country. I know many already suggested this, I really hope this will be implemented soon.

Next is Trade Agreements. The market is already there, yes, but this Trade Agreement is country-country trading.
Example:
Country A produces Oil but needs Iron. Country B produces Iron but needs Oil. Solution: They sign a Trade Agreement. This creates a temporary "Warehouse". Let's say they agree to trade 1,000 Oil for 1,200 Iron. Country A selects an Oil-producing company. Any Oil that the company produces will be sent to the "Warehouse", until they reach 1,000 Oil. The same goes for Country B. Once their "Warehouses" are full, the exchange is immediately completed. The items go to the country's inventory (let's add this feature too). Money and Gold may also be traded, but that will come from the country's treasury.

The main difference of Trade Agreements from individual trading and buying/selling is that the country will get what resources they really need, and hoarders will not be able to get rich and destabilize a country's economy. Plus, if any country benefits from a TA, it's the country that improves, not individual players.

Countries may also create Trade Embargoes against enemy countries, preventing all trade with players from that country. This may be effective when a country doesn't want to have foreigners hoard their goods, especially when they decide to lower the prices to help the new players.

Please do comment, I want to know your thoughts on this.

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
