Note: I know these have been done before and as great as they are, I just believe that having one of these once in a while in the system is a good thing.
Tips to survive an occupation.
(I love the spider-man meme, that is all!)
#1.Stick together with your fellow oppressed masses (US citizens, or other occupied nationals).
As you have the same sentiment with the recently conquered (getting back possession of your lands) it is easier to bond with them than in normal circumstances would allow (one would hope) because you are working towards (almost) the same end. Favors (to swap goods) shouldn't be hard to secure amongst other nationals, unless it means tangible damage in RW’s, but you are stronger with allies than you would be apart. Continue using, and keep, previous lines of communication with you fellow nationals and allies (National shouts, News publications, Forums, IRC, ect.).
#2.Diplomatic relations and effective government systems are a must.
Although the lines on the map have changed the people inside them haven’t (or shouldn’t have). Your government is an integral part of keeping a national identity and the nation as a whole together, and since a government is mandated by the people to be the representative of the nation to the world. Letting the matter of begin occupied by a foreign power impede relations with other (specifically allied and neutral) nations fade or wane is a gigantic mismanagement of your duties as a representative of the people.
#3.Adaptable Economy
Of the utmost importance to you as an individual is not to buy goods from the occupying nation as it adds to their coffers (though taxes) and their war machine. Use your private fortune for the benefit of the resistance. If you hold a company (or –ies), please use Person-to-Person trade, the act of trading by donations. One of the best means to do this is by way of the ‘black market’ usually found on the IRC, or where ever trustworthy business people gather.
At this point your nations currency value has taken a nose dive and all but useless. Once your entire nation becomes occupied there is no market to trade on, currency (USD ) at this point becomes (until you get your nation back) obsolete.
Part II
So there four options for the business person to take; #1.) Possibly the easiest, use the Gold standard (pay in Gold) as your currency (keep in mind you still have to pay 1 Currency to your employee [depending on when you hired them you might be paying in your own nations currency or the occupying nations currency]) #2.) Use a barter system which is much like a commune standard [well it is exactly like the commune system] (though keep in mind the 1 currency pay is still a necessity).
The last two are not on my recommend list. #3) Use the occupying nations currency PLN . Since this will include your company to the foreign powers economy, by way of higher tax flow. Keep in mind that the previous suggestions do add to the taxes however it is very slight because of the 1 currency minimum, but that is a small percentage of the overall gain. #4.) Close down shop. Of all the options this is the only one that will not add to the enemy pockets, but it will weaken the resistance by far more than it would help your people.
#4.Pool your people’s Resources/Add your resources to the Resistance
Now you don’t have to give it away to the de facto government ( I say ‘de facto’ since they won’t be official, if it is more than a month, by game standards, I think), just use them when the government is coordinating and is indeed of said resources. You yourself are a resource, man power is at it's greatest need at this time, and damage output by a single person can tip the balance (this is true as I have seen it many times before).
#5. Patience is a Must
Occupations in most cases are long and arduous, since those who are occupied lack the: strength, time, effort, financial support or cohesion, to break free from their oppressors. One must wait to have all that and more just to be able to break free, not to mention stay free.

Viva le résistance!
Viva la independencia!
Viva the USA!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
