Today you can read about the major military units of the US (major meaning they had more than 10 at the time I messaged them). I asked each MU commander to tell me about the requirements for joining their MU, and why people should pick their MU over others. Not all commanders responded, so here are the ones who did:



US Army

8675309 says: "Army is the official Government Military Unit. We are funded by the government and through a variety of member donations. Army can be a springboard to a Government position, case in point the last....4 Secretaries of Defense, and the current Vice President were all members of Army when they received their positions. Our communes are some of the best in the country, supplying 10 Q5 food, 5 Q2 gifts, and 20 Q1 guns a day. We're also awesome."



Band of Brothers Homefront

Darkflight says: "No requirements, communing is optional but you only receive supplies if you commune. I guess [people should join] because its a large community with good supplies."



Band of Brothers Elite

Liquid HOMICIDE says: " The BoB Family MUs offer: A friendly and informative community of players of all levels and skills, playing to promote the US' interests at home and abroad.

BoB Elite is the biggest and hardest hitting MU in the USA, as such, we have somewhat stringent requirements.

1. Have 1000+ strength.
2. Have 4000 XP (This denotes a certain level of activity.)
3. Be on IRC daily to check in.
4. Entrance fee. (Which deals can be worked out with interested parties frequently.)
5. Work commune.

What We Offer:
1. Elite MU bonuses to your damage. (20%)
2. 10 Q5 Food daily.
3. 5 Q5 Gifts daily.
4. 40 Q1 weapons daily.
5. Tickets on request.

Glorius Army

-get 5% damage bonus
-no commune obligation ( but we have a rule, fight at least 3 days a week using full 10 Q5 food and full 10 Q5 Gifts)
-defend and fight for USA (this MU will follow : the battle priorities: US battles, battle order from DoD Newspaper, -fight for Alliance where USA being part of .
-work at the MU owner company and get gold as salary (limited offer)

entry requirements:
-It is open for all nations, American is being
-No minimum strength
-No Economic level
-self sustained people (MU members can apply to Project Carnucopia or HoW for supplies)"



SONS of LIBERTY

American_insurgent says: "why should people join my MU? well we may not be the best but we have grown fast considering when we started. we require 10 gold and you must commune, everything goes to the MU. one think i can offer is a degree of free will. you can do what ever you want with your supplies because you have earned them and the battle orders are "suggestions" and are not mandatory. we are on our way to having Q5 food to pass out so we are striving to be one of the best MUs, if we have an opening and you want to be a part of an MU that has no direction to go except up,and you like the butt kicking modern day militia/colonial militia theme then SoL bay just be for you ;D

Band of Brothers Infantry

met3 says: "We are the middle child of the BoB family that provides an opportunity for players to deal large amounts of damage, as well as them getting priority when it comes to BoB Elite recruitment. Consequently Infantry is also the highest damage dealing Veteran MU in the eUSA, as well as one of the highest commune paying Veteran MU's in the e-World* (of equal or less size).

Our MU currently gives 30 q1guns 10q4 food 2 q1 tickets and will soon be giving out 10 q2 gifts to those that commune. We have 6 slots open and recruitment is free to commune players that have 800+ Strength and 5+ econ skill. We will also accept non-commune players for a 5 gold entrance fee.

We are right now working through the change of leadership after our long time leader Goddrick left the game, but we are moving along and are becoming stronger than ever!

If players are looking for a powerful Veteran MU that allows opportunities to succeed, then we are the Unit for you!"



The Wonderbolts

Mr Kittybottoms says: "We are a fun MU based around the cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, largely in association with the pony based political party. We have no requirements to join, but do charge a 3 gold entrance fee for new members to help cover some of the expansion costs. Our commune setup simply pays market wages based on economy skill, so because of this we do not actually hand out supplies. We will help supply things such as tickets though when they are required for orders. We always set orders to the DoD, so we are always fighting with America's best interest in mind!"



TOP GUN Flight School

Baarogue says: "Flight School is for SCHOOLING BUTTS. Also, I'm the most awesome MU leader ever."



US Marines

ROB says: "We are an regular MU.
Only 5 gold to join us. May raise in the future.
We are a self-sufficient MU and will supply weapons every once and a while.
We are very friendly and always trying to upgrade our MU and get some more members in."



Nite Watch

sebastonz says: "There is 1 free to join slot available. After that is filled, there will be a 5g slot opening fee. We have full commune work available, though not required unlike most other MU's. Supplies are 10 Q4 food and 20 weapons daily and are supplied well before day change. We are quickly working towards q5 food and also adding gifts."



RANGERS

★ Snowball the Dinosaur says: "Rangers is currently full/closed to new members, we are selectively choosing the new members we recruit to join. People should join based on wanting to lay it on the line for the eUSA and her allies. The only entry requirement we have now is you must be willing to commune. But as I said we are currently full ."
