Congressional Voting Record

Today's article will be pretty boring, and mostly just a wall of text. I have selected almost all of the tax change law proposals that have occurred during my two terms as a congressman. At every turn I have done what I believe is the best for John Q. Public. The majority of these laws are income/import tax change, I valued the citizen over a few extra points in the treasury, and as such, I have no voted almost every tax change law. The one tax change I voted yes for was the one I proposed, one that increased the import tax on grain. I did this shortly after we acquired Canada Eastern Coast. This was to help our own citizens produce USA made grain and to keep foreign grain off the market. I would provide what the tax was prior to the change, but the game does not show "current rate" vs "proposed rate"
Iron Tax Change Voted No
Moving Ticket Tax Change Voted No
House Tax Change Voted No
Weapon Tax Change Voted No
Food Tax Change Voted No
Gift Tax Change Voted No
Grain INCOME Tax Change Voted No
Iron Tax Change Voted No
Oil Tax Change Voted No
Diamond Tax Change Voted No
Wood Tax Change Voted No
Stone Tax Change Voted No
War with Canada Voted NO
Grain IMPORT Tax Change Voted YES
Wood Tax Change Voted No
The tax changes were discussed at length on the forums, however, I did not support the tax changes and my votes reflected it. So in a few days when congress elections roll around, take a few minutes and review the votes from the last term. Does the person you plan to vote for have Lady Liberty's best interests at heart? Or are they a medal grabbing fool that is in it just for the gold?

Sometimes a no vote is the best vote. Especially when it comes to new taxes.

True but not having enough grain and the chance that a person would go to #strade isn't worth the extra change we would get from the higher tax rate.
Thank you

Grain tax shod be 20- 25% import, local busnisess can provide more then enough grain. STOP the foreigners trying to cut our profits
Any way g/j on your voting
