I ended my last article about the NAF crowns on the note that you, the members, are all knights. Well, what virtues do we expect our knights to embody? That, my dear readers, is what the stars represent.
Six stars, six virtues
Patriotism NAF members must hold the well-being of the country above all else. Sometimes an action might appear to be patriotic (like fighting in an unsanctioned resistance war to free Alaska or California, aka Pacific Coast, from the Russians) but is instead gravely detrimental to the stability and safety of our community. We must trust that our elected officials and their staff are acting in the best interest of the country and follow their lead.
Integrity NAF members must strive to be honest and trustworthy in their interactions, because who knows when underhanded behavior will lead to a bad reputation for the party as a whole, or the whole country? Gains tainted by theft, cheating, or double-dealing which are then passed on to the party, one's friends, or one's MU might lead to a Game Operator penalizing someone who doesn't deserve it. Do the right thing and play by the rules.
Communication NAF members should make an effort to get to know each other, especially those who are in elected positions or members of our administration's (i.e., the President's, not the game admin) support staff. Make sure to read the messages from the Party President, and subscribe to the various newspapers published by our members. Staying in touch leads to opportunities, and can increase your enjoyment of the game!
Cooperation NAF members should seek to work together - not only with other NAF members, but with members of other parties and MUs. Rivalries can be fun, but if taken too far they can lead to fractures in our community and undermine our country. Personal ambition, partisanship, and MU loyalty should never get in the way of accomplishing things as a party and country.
Knowledge NAF members should strive to educate themselves at every opportunity. The game appears simple at a glance, but there are strategies and more efficient means to get ahead when one takes the time to learn them. Ask for advice, read articles, read the wiki, and eventually you won't be the one asking the questions; you'll be answering them for the next generation!
Strength This is a war-game after all, so NAF members should work to improve their strength and rank to better fight for our country and allies. Joining one of the many MUs is a good first step, since even the lowest level MU grants a 5% damage bonus when fighting by their battle orders. Learning how to combine food, gift, and weapon usage to fight smarter leads to success in war, and the stability and security that come from belonging to a force to be reckoned with.
Also, it does not matter which MU you join. We have members from almost all of the American MUs, including, in particular, Band of Brothers, Top Gun, and Army.
Carry these six words with you as you play the game, and you'll find you have no problem making friends and finding success for yourself, your chosen MU, and your party.
Signing off,
Feefaroni
P.S. The sixteen-star version of the crowns was decided to represent Patriotism, Integrity, Communication, Cooperation, Knowledge, Strength, Leadership, Baseball, Apple Pie, Rockets, McDonald's, Cowboys, America F*** Yeah, Hollywood, New York, Humvees, and Big Oil, but was overruled in favor of the six-star list for the sake of brevity.
P.P.S This article was written with a lot of help from Baarogue because he is incredibly awesome like that.
P.P.P.S. If I had to choose one player who embodies all six virtues, much like the Avatar of Virtues from the Ultima series of games, it would have to be Baarogue. He's so dreamy. I'd watch him joust any day, if you catch my drift.
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth.
Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit
different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be
efficiently
managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation.
Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the
game.
Work for the good of your country and
see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules.
First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you
will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress
as a fighter.
You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which
are owned by the state.
After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your
own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock
company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics
in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes.
From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability
to run for the head of the party you're in.
You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws
proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself.
Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you.
You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential
elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state
(for example, who to declare war on).
Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have
a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military.
In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control
over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials.
For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have
to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on
their territory.
You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life
as a pacifist
who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling
products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game.
It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present
in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth
according to their own.
So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
