[UK] Military and MoFA
Posted 1 year ago by Ranflax

As I said in my candidacy article , I would be releasing 2 more articles before election day. This is the first of them and it will focus on the Military and Foreign Affairs side of my plans.

Military

Over the past month, the UK's Government funded army - The British Army - has seen tremendous growth in both numbers and damage capabilities. During the next term I aim to focus on reducing the deficit in the production of supplies. I'll be looking at maximising the efficiency and aim to set a time when all supplies will be distributed. We'll do so looking into the skill levels of all workers, and moving people (if needed) to other sectors. If it can be afforded I will also see about upgrading the raw companies to increase our production levels.

For this coming term, my Minister of Defence will be Quagmire . He did a fantastic job last term in CBall 's cabinet as MoD, and I know he'll do the same again this term! Helping him in this post as Deputy Minister of Defence will be Marshall . This will be his first cabinet post in the UK, I wish him the best of luck and know he will do well to support the British Army in their needs.

Foreign Affairs

The UK had an interesting time last term in it's Foreign Affairs. We left Fortis, started rebuilding friendships and generally tried to do what was best for the UK and it's people. We currently stand in hazy ground. We are not formally part of any alliance, and are just hitting where we can for continued growth.
During this next term I do not intend to take the UK towards any alliance. We may look like we favour one over the other, but that's not always the case. We won't be judged on the actions of the few. If you need us, we're here to help where we can. Our Foreign Policy will be open to all suggestions and influences. We will not close ourselves off to nations based on their alliance or their MPPs. We aim to be friendly and helpful.

Leading the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this term will be SiRi . Tony was - up until recently - the MoFA in Lithuania. He received British Citizenship again the other week and is a good, strong talent to have on board. Assisting him in this role will be GaryTC , who was my assistant MoFA during this past term. Gary's a strong player with a keen interest in helping the UK grow on the international side of events.

TL;DR

MoD: Quagmire
DMoD: Marshall
MoFA: SiRi
dMoFA: GaryTC
