Greetings fellow E-Sim Americans,
While this paper is named The “Weekly” Key and it is the intent that this paper be published once per week, there will be exceptions.
Some exceptions that would cause it to be published more often would be election times, major events, or cocaine being put in my Red Bull mixed with coffee.
Exceptions that may cause it to take longer than a week to publish might include RL stuff (which should always come before any game), the escort I hired staying longer than I paid for because she wants to talk about her feelings (or how I owe her more money due to a tax increase on personal entertainment), or just plain old laziness.
Either way, here we are with another addition, and I hope you enjoy it.

Kolumn Sutra: Koncerning Thoughts
Citizen A: “…COME ON PEOPLE STAND UP AND TAKE A CHANCE LETS RETAKE THE eUSA!!!..”
Citizen B: “…do you have several hundred gold for the food, gifts, weapons, tickets, that we will need?...”
Citizen A: “…how do you expect us to even get gold or money when all the jobs are paying what $2…”

The above conversation really took place between two citizens in shoutbox. Their words were selected because, in three shouts, they managed to accurately represent the current attitude of the e-Sim American people and highlight America’s two biggest concerns: Russia and their control over our fair country, and Employment.
The American people, even before they are fully signed up, are concerned with Russia’s vice grip on the country as when they are selecting where to start in the game, they can see that America only possesses a single province.
After they are fully signed in, they receive an alert instructing them to find a job, at which point they often discover that foreign jobs pay more, and or, that there is a job shortage from American Businesses that are owned by Americans.
It is obvious that the current state of things is not ideal and we are frustrated, but if we are not careful our frustration and pride will lead to even greater problems.
A significant mistake is having the mentality that we need to fight back and fight back right now. To all of the E-SimUSA citizens that are saying we need to start resistances and fight back right here and now, I challenge you to ask these two questions:
1.) What do you think lead us to this point in the first place?
Starting a war we were not prepared for is more than likely what led to this point in the first place and after doing such, it is likely that we lost a considerable amount of resources in the process making us even LESS ready for a full scale war than we were to begin with.
Even if we somehow managed to recapture anything, the tricky part would be holding on to it and maintaining it as retaliation would be sure to follow and most likely would not stop at regaining that province, but also possibly us being completely wiped out and left with nothing.
Dying on your feet may be better than living on your knees… but it will never be better than biding one’s time, proper planning, and excellent execution.
2.) Do you think any of us actually LIKE the fact that Russia controls most our land?
Whenever these individuals speak, they seem to talk as if no one else is unhappy about the current state of things. Like everyone else who isn’t pounding their chest screaming “CHARGE,” and “AMERICA!!” are content with things. This is not the case.
We ALL, that’s right ALL, want what is best for this country so keep that in mind and trust those of us that are saying, “Not yet.”
Another mistake we need to avoid making, playing the, infamous but very popular, Blame Game.
It is easy to go, “It wasn’t my fault, it was his,” or whatever but at this point in time what good would that do? America doesn’t need to know whose fault it is because that isn’t going to help her. What she needs are solutions regardless as to where or who they come from.
So to those E-Sim American citizens that want to use their hands to point fingers, I urge you to consider that America will be closer to moving in the right direction if instead of using our hands to point… we use them to work on change.

There may be trying times ahead, but we only truly lose when we give up and we risk making success harder to come by when we take actions without proper thought, place effort into blaming rather than changing, and supporting our pride and/or personal agendas over the needs of our country. About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
