Two Weeks of Chaos: Iran Collapses, Bolivia Takes the Crown

What a difference two weeks can make.

When we last looked at the new Primera, Iran ruled the map with an incredible 152 regions. Bolivia was their nearest challenger with 111, while the rest watched from a considerable distance.

Fast forward 14 days and the map has been turned upside down.

Iran's empire has almost completely disappeared.

152 regions have become just one.

Meanwhile, Bolivia has gone in precisely the opposite direction.

Bolivia Takes Over

Bolivia has been the biggest winner since our last report, increasing its territory from 111 to 145 regions.

Mexico has moved into second place with 79, followed by Malaysia on 62, Zambia on 59 and Egypt on 58.

Rank Country Regions
🥇 1 🇧🇴 Bolivia 145
🥈 2 🇲🇽 Mexico 79
🥉 3 🇲🇾 Malaysia 62
4 🇿🇲 Zambia 59
5 🇪🇬 Egypt 58
6–10 Israel, Greece, Spain, Ukraine & USA —

Bolivia now has almost twice as many regions as second-placed Mexico.

But before anybody starts describing the Bolivian empire as untouchable, remember what happened to the previous leader.

Iran had 152 regions just two weeks ago.

Primera has already demonstrated how quickly an empire can disappear.

106 Countries Without a Region

The concentration of territory is becoming even more striking.

There are 166 countries on the server, but only 60 currently control at least one region.

That leaves 106 countries — almost 64% of the server — without any territory under their control.

In other words, fewer than four out of every ten countries still have somewhere on the map to call their own.

And one country that came extremely close to joining the other 106 is Iran.

152 → 1... But Iran Is Still Fighting

Looking purely at the map, Iran's last two weeks have been disastrous.

They have lost 151 of their 152 regions.

But writing Iran off completely would be premature.

They still have one region.

And they also have ★ omid moradi .

Omid remains one of the strongest fighters in eSim and, at the time of writing, has produced more than 36 billion damage today alone.

For comparison:
★ omid moradi — 36+ billion
★ Carpio — 22 billion
★ GodSoulNight — 18 billion

The next two fighters combined have produced around 40 billion.

So while Iran's territory may have almost vanished, one of its leading fighters is producing nearly as much damage as the next two players combined.

Apparently somebody forgot to tell Iran that they're supposed to be finished.

The Map Doesn't Tell the Whole Story

There is another interesting way of looking at Primera.

Forget regions for a moment.

Look at citizens.

The game administration has been busy promoting eSim to potential new players while also hoping to tempt former players back into the game.

And among the existing player base, there isn't actually a huge difference between many of the largest countries.

Countries by Citizens
Rank Country Citizens
1 🇵🇱 Poland 44
2 🇧🇷 Brazil 36
=3 🇷🇸 Serbia 35
=3 🇬🇷 Greece 35
5 🇹🇷 Turkey 34
6 🇺🇸 USA 33
7 🇮🇷 Iran 32
=8 🇪🇸 Spain 31
=8 🇲🇽 Mexico 31
10 🇭🇺 Hungary 26

And this produces some interesting contrasts.

Bolivia dominates the territorial map with 145 regions, yet doesn't appear in the top ten countries by citizens.

Poland is the exact opposite. It has the largest citizen population with 44, yet doesn't feature among the ten countries controlling the most territory.

Iran is perhaps the most interesting of all: only one region, but still the 7th-largest citizen population, with 32 players.

It is a useful reminder that the size of a country's empire doesn't necessarily tell us how much strength remains behind it.

Can New Players Change the Map Again?

This could become particularly important if the administration's attempts to bring new and returning players into Primera succeed.

At the moment, many countries are separated by only a handful of citizens.

Just 13 players separate second-placed Brazil from tenth-placed Hungary.

A relatively small influx of active players choosing one country could therefore have a noticeable impact.

And if returning veterans arrive with experience, equipment and connections from the past, things could become even more interesting.

The next battle for Primera might not simply be about conquering regions.

It could also be about attracting and keeping citizens.

Two Weeks Is a Long Time in Primera

Edition One asked what would happen when Suna and Primera came together.

Edition Two showed us the first great land grab.

Now Edition Three has shown just how quickly those gains can disappear.

Iran: 152 → 1

Bolivia: 111 → 145

106 countries: 0

And yet Iran, despite losing virtually its entire empire, still has 32 citizens and one of the strongest fighters on the server producing extraordinary amounts of damage.

Perhaps that is the biggest lesson from the first few weeks of the merger:

Regions matter. Citizens matter. Fighters matter. But none of them guarantee that today's empire will still exist tomorrow.

Bolivia now sits on the throne.

The question is...

for how long?

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. Its creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
