بسم الله ...
أيها الأخوة والأخوات
كان بودي أن أجئ إليكم قبل الآن، التقي بكم وبجماهير شعبنا وامتنا، لكن مشاغلي كانت كما تعلمون وكما تريدون، واثق أنكم تقدرون وتعذرون، ومهما يكن فلقد كنت أحس بكم وبشعبنا وأمتنا معي في كل رأي وكنت أحس بكم وبشعبنا وأمتنا معي في كل قرار، كنتم جميعاً معي، فيما أخذته على مسؤوليتي تعبيراً عن إرادة أمة، وتعبيراً عن مصير شعب، ثم وجدت مناسباً أن أجئ إليكم اليوم أتحدث معكم ومع جماهير شعبنا ومع شعوب أمتنا العربية وأمام عالم يهمه ما يجرى على أرضنا لأنه وثيق الصلة بأخطر قضايا الإنسانية، وهي قضية الحرب والسلام ذلك لأننا لا نعتبر نضالنا الوطني والقومي ظاهرة محلية أو إقليمية لأن المنطقة التي نعيش فيها بدورها الإستراتيجي والحضاري في القلب من العالم وفي الصميم من حركته، ولأن الحوادث كبيرة ولأن التطورات متلاحقة ولأن القرارات مصيرية فإنني أريد أن أدخل مباشرة فيما أريد أن أتحدث فيه معكم وسوف أركز على نقطتين: الحرب والسلام.
أولاً: الحرب
لست أظنكم تتوقعون مني أن أقف أمامكم لكي نتفاخر معاً ونتباهى بما حققناه في أحد عشر يوماً من أهم وأخطر، بل أعظم وأمجد أيام تاريخنا، وربما جاء يوم نجلس فيه معاً لا لكي نتفاخر ونتباهى، ولكن لكي نتذكر وندرس ونعلم أولادنا وأحفادنا جيلاً بعد جيل، قصة الكفاح ومشاقة، مرارة الهزيمة وآلامها، وحلاوة النصر وآماله.
نعم سوف يجئ يوم نجلس فيه لنقص ونروى ماذا فعل كل منا في موقعه ... وكيف حمل كل منا أمانته وأدى دوره، كيف خرج الأبطال من هذا الشعب وهذه الأمة في فترة حالكة ساد فيها الظلام، ليحملوا مشاعل النور وليضيئوا الطريق حتى تستطيع أمتهم أن تعبر الجسر ما بين اليأس والرجاء.
ذلك كله سوف يجئ وقته وأظنكم توافقونني على أن لدينا اليوم من المشاغل والمهام ما يستحق أن نكرس له كل وقتنا وجهدنا، وإذا جاز لي أن أتوقف قليلاً وأنا أعلم أن بكم شوقاً إلى سماع الكثير فإني أقول ما يلي:
أولاً: فيما يتعلق بنفسي فقد حاولت أن أفي بما عاهدت الله وعاهدتكم عليه قبل ثلاث سنوات بالضبط من هذا اليوم، عاهدت الله وعاهدتكم على أن قضية تحرير التراب الوطني والقومي، هي التكليف الأول الذي حملته ولاءا لشعبنا وللأمة، عاهدت الله وعاهدتكم على أني لن أدخر جهداً، ولن أتردد دون تضحية مهما كلفتني في سبيل أن تصل الأمة إلى وضع تكون فية قادرة على رفع إرادتها إلى مستوى أمانيها، ذلك أن اعتقادى دائماً كان ولا يزال أن التمني بلا إرادة نوع من أحلام اليقظة، يرفض حبي وولائي لهذا الوطن أن نقع في سرابه أو في ضبابه، عاهدت الله وعاهدتكم على أن نثبت للعالم أن نكسة سنة 1967 كانت استثناءا في تاريخنا وليست قاعدة وقد كنت في هذا أصدر عن إيمان بالتاريخ يستوعب ( سبعة الاف سنة من الحضارة ) ويستشرف آفاقاً أعلم علم اليقين نضال شعبنا وأمتنا لبلوغها والوصول إليها وتأكيد قيمها وأحلامها العظمى، ( عاهدت الله وعاهدتكم على أن جيلنا لن يسلم أعلامه إلى جيل سوف يجئ من بعده منكسة أو ذليلة، وإنما سوف نسلم أعلامنا مرتفعة هاماتها عزيزة صواريها، وقد تكون مخضبة بالدماء، ولكننا ظللنا نحتفظ برءوسنا عالية في السماء وقت أن كانت جباهنا تنزف الدم والألم والمرارة ).
عاهدت الله وعاهدتكم على أن لا أتأخر عن لحظة أجدها ملائمة، ولا أتقدم عنها، لا أغامر، ولا أتلكأ، وكانت الحسابات مضنية والمسؤولية فادحة، لكنني أدركت كما قلت لكم وللأمة مراراً وتكراراً أن ذلك قدري وأنني حملته على كتفي عاهدت الله وعاهدتكم وحاولت مخلصاً ان أفي بالوعد ملتمساً عون الله
وطالباً ثقتكم وثقة الأمة وأني لأحمد الله.
ثانياً: لقد كان كل شئ منوطاً بإرادة هذه الأمة، حجم هذه الإرادة وعمق هذه الإرادة وما كنا لنستطيع شيئاً وما كان أحد ليستطيع شيئاً لو لم يكن هذا الشعب، ولو لم تكن هذه الأمة لقد كان الليل طويلاً وثقيلاً ولكن الأمة لم تفقد إيمانها أبداً بطلوع الفجر، وإني لأ قول بغير إدعاء ( أن التاريخ سوف يسجل لهذه الأمة أن نكستها لم تكن سقوطاً وإنما كانت كبوة عارضة وأن حركتها لم تكن فوراناً وإنما كانت ارتفاعاً شاهقا ) ً. لقد أعطي شعبنا جهداً غير محدود وقدم شعبنا تضحيات غير محدودة، وأظهر شعبنا وعياً غير محدود، وأهم من ذلك كله، أهم من الجهد والتضحيات والوعي، فإن الشعب احتفظ بإيمانه غير محدود، وكان ذلك هو الخط الفاصل بين النكسة وبين الهزيمة ولقد كنت أحس بذلك من أول يوم تحملت فيه مسؤوليتي وقبلت راضياً بما شاء الله أن يضعه على كاهلي، كنت أعرف أن إيمان الشعب هو القاعدة، وإذا كانت القاعدة سليمة فإن كل ما ضاع يمكن تعويضه، وكل ما تراجعنا عنه نستطيع الانطلاق إليه مرة أخرى.
وبرغم ظواهر عديدة، بعضها طبيعي وبعضها مصطنع من تأثير حرب نفسية وجهت إلينا فقد كان سؤالي لنفسي ولغيري في كل يوم يمر هل القاعدة سليمة؟
وكنت واثقاً أنه ليس في قدرة أية حرب نفسية مهما كانت ضراوتها أن تمس صلابة هذه القاعدة. وما دامت القاعدة بخير فإن كل شئ بخير، وغير ذلك لن يكون إلاّ زوبعة في فنجان كما يقولون.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
