Hello again in 3rd progress report of my presidency!
In this article I again will tell you about what has been done so far, from last week, and also I will introduce everyone to something new, that I hope will help our military aspect of being a strong and reliable country when it comes to protection of our and our ally lands.
Let's not waste any time and begin!
Economy:
We are still continuing with the company upgrades and I can finally tell that the base of our governments business is finally finished. This week we upgraded all the raw companies to Q5 and with that we are done with the basic needs of having all kind of companies at their max. Although Bank will open Q5 grain and food company as those that government have is used by MU.
So here is what has been upgrade this week:

Another big thing that we have done this week is - taxes! I asked my dear MU leader and fellow friend in this game and patriot of The Gambia -
Jamboon to go through our TAX policy and propose his version of it. He did that with excellence and gave me his proposal of TAX policy for The Gambia and explained how does every stakeholder would benefit from it.
I believe that this will allow people to have bigger range of offers in market not only in products but also in prices. We want to have a good and natural concurrence between manufacturers that would eliminate the greedy prices that didn't allow citizens of The Gambia to have full progress potential. This should change some of that.
Military:
Finally this week I spent more time for questions that affects our military aspects. After a short talk with MU leaders I understood that people start to get bored and they want some action. Unfortunately I cannot offer more than I can. We all should take in consideration that our geographical position has reached our limits and further are only our allies. So the best I can offer in terms of active wars is fights abroad, helping our allies in battle against our enemy alliance SiO. And let's be honest, it is better to do the battles away from our home than to fight at our territories.
Unfortunately the alliance where The Gambia was part of - WU or Western Union - has been dismissed but we still hold friendly relationships with all of it's members. And I do not intend to try to join any alliance at the moment because there is some issues about our military potential that I want to fix. Our friends Algeria didn't want to join WU because of us, The Gambia, as we were dead weight, we couldn't give any military support. I totally agree with that and can understand their position as it definitely is our biggest downfall at the moment.
So to try to somehow fix this problem I am starting a support program for every single MU of The Gambia. Starting from tomorrow, Monday, December the 2nd, government will issue a budget in golds for every MU based on their percentage done in the order battles. The budget will vary based on the amount of order battles.
Here are the budget rates:
7 or more orders - 100g/pw
6 orders - 90g/pw
5 orders - 80g/pw
4 orders - 70g/pw
3 orders - 60g/pw
1-2 orders - 50g/pw
*pw - per week
This is the budget system for all MU's together, not individually. It means that if government will issue more than 7 battle orders per week then all MU's will divide 100g, based on how big of a percentage(%) the MU have made on the dmg scale of all MU damage.
I hope this will make MU's to fight better and stronger. This is a good time to add the proverb - Country, business, family, army or whatever else is as strong as it's weakest link. So let's make this link stronger and unbreakable.
Time will show how this system works in practice and if there will be issues with big overdmg or something else, then a penalty system for various violations will be added. Penalty system will decrease the budget size.
GAF
By now we all know the unfortunate fate of one of the strongest MU of The Gambia - GAF or Gambias Armed Forces. I can tell that I am doing all I can from my side to get back what rightfully belongs to all ex-GAF members and I hope we will get through this. Please don't lose your hope, don't leave the game, stay strong as it helps you, us and your friends.
Because of this matter the government has offered to all ex-GAF members a new home, fully under their leadership. Government is giving Special Force of The Gambia to ex-GAF members. The leader will be
Marin1991 . He will be given rights to use the MU as his own and make his own decisions without proposing them to government. I hope that no one won't have issues with this as they are our brothers than need help. They have lost their house, it's been burned down by some punk, and they need new house to live in.
I also would like to ask anyone who can to donate anything they can afford to help them upgrade the MU to Regular. We need overall 250g for that as MU has 50 slots, so any kind of donation will be much appreciated. Send it to The Gambias treasury with a reason "In Trust for GAF restart"

Based on what I wrote above, the MU will go through some new changes and it means that probably the biggest part of the members that are now in the MU will be kicked. Those who are active and will have interest in being a good soldier under a new leadership will be more than welcome to stay. Please, those who will be kicked, don't be angry as this MU from the beginning has never been there with an idea to be a real MU. It was made to offer new players a place to join till they are strong enough to join a better MU. There are several MU's that are looking for members at this spoken time so use your chance to progress to the next level.
Newbie MU
This is only idea at the moment but after
Marin1991 will take the leadership of Special Forces of The Gambia, I intend to make a new MU for newbies that would offer a place to join new players till they reach level 10. Something like a Military Cadets before joining Armed Forces.

As my term is coming to an end then on the last day of my term this month I will write my last progress article where I will let you know some of the things that I will change and focus on if I will be elected for the 2nd term. This month I was all about the economy in our government and I believe I have accomplished my goal already and I've been even able to try to start something more than I was expecting to. But don't take me wrong - I will not push my candidacy for 2nd term if you don't want it. Who knows, maybe you think I've done a bad job so I give you opportunity to express yourself in this small survey where you let me know - do you want me, Mr Bohannan, to run for the 2nd term as the president of The Gambia.

About the game:
USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
E-Sim is a unique browser game. Its creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
