Localizado a cerca de 80 km da costa de Belize, na América Central, este imenso buraco é, na verdade, uma caverna que se formou há dezenas de milhares de anos e que foi, posteriormente, inundada pelas águas do mar do Caribe. Com aproximadamente 300 metros de diâmetro e 125 metros de profundidade, ela abriga diversas espécies de animais marinhos, tais como arraias, peixes-papagaios e peixes-borboletas.

2. Huacachina, no Peru
Parece uma miragem, mas é a mais pura verdade: trata-se de Huacachina, localidade no sul do Peru que cresceu ao redor de um lago e hoje é o lar de pouco mais de 100 habitantes. Na década de 1940, o lugar atraía pessoas de todo o país que acreditavam no poder curativo das águas do seu lago e, mais recentemente, nos anos 1990, a cidadezinha virou destino obrigatório dos praticantes de sandboard, uma espécie de surfe na areia.

3. Túnel do Amor, na Ucrânia
Um caminho de 3 km, coberto por uma densa vegetação, faz desta ferrovia na Ucrânia um dos cenários mais românticos do Velho Continente. Este cartão-postal inspirador fica na cidade de Klevan, a 350 km da capital do país, Kiev, e, mesmo durante o gélido inverno da região, seu ar poético se mantém conservado.

4. Praia Escondida, no México
Esta praia fica em uma das ilhas do arquipélago mexicano de Marietas, localizado perto de Puerto Vallarta, cidade costeira banhada pelo oceano Pacífico. Cercado por terra por todos os lados, este paraíso, também conhecido como “Praia do Amor”, pode ser acessado com embarcações, a nado ou por meio de uma trilha que leva até a cratera que revela seu esconderijo.

5. Cratera vulcânica Dallol, na Etiópia
O que parece ser a superfície de um planeta hostil ao surgimento da vida, na verdade, é uma paisagem que fica aqui na Terra, mais especificamente na Etiópia, no nordeste da África. Trata-se da cratera do vulcão Dallol, que, após a sua última erupção em 1926, foi coberto de ácido. Essa paisagem surreal é composta por montanhas de enxofre e sal, gêiseres de gases tóxicos e piscinas ácidas multicoloridas.

6. Fly Ranch Geyser, nos Estados Unidos
Em 1916, a perfuração malsucedida de um poço no estado americano de Nevada criou, inesperadamente, esta paisagem de outro mundo. O gêiser — espécie de vulcão que expele água — começou a liberar o líquido quente e repleto de minerais apenas na década de 1960, e, de lá para cá, o resultado foi esta montanha colorida que dispara jatos de água quente a mais de 5 metros de altura.

7. Lago Natron, na Tanzânia
Localizado no leste da África, este lago tem suas águas avermelhadas devido ao elevado número de cianobactérias que nele se desenvolvem. O vermelho mais vívido é encontrado nas regiões mais profundas e os tons alaranjados, nas áreas mais próximas da superfície.

8. Zao Onsen, no Japão
As nevascas no Japão são tão intensas que deixam a paisagem assim, branquinha, como se fosse um deserto de neve. Este visual de tirar o fôlego é responsável por fazer esta região ser um dos destinos de inverno mais badalados do país.

9. Vulcão White Island, na Nova Zelândia
Este vulcão, localizado a quase 50 km da costa da Nova Zelândia, é um dos poucos do planeta em que se pode entrar na cratera. Isso acontece porque parte da sua borda desmoronou durante uma erupção, deixando a estrutura geológica no mesmo nível que o mar. Em seu interior, um lago de enxofre exala um cheiro nada agradável — o que torna indispensável o uso de máscaras de oxigênio quando se visita o lugar.

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
