Hi, ladies and gentlemen
A story about how strongest market became one of the worst markets in Primera.
Do you remember such country as Poland? They had a best market in Primera. It was a very long time ago, of course. They had small taxes, so all Primera was selling/buying there. Even Lithuania couldn't compete with them. After that they only in few steps lost everything. Every step lasted for quite a long time and I'm gonna list them.
1. Let's start from position - taxes 2%/2%/20% (*). PLN rate 0,05. They changed currency rate to 0.0601 g. But that went good and easy - it was still best market, with turnover with like 3 times Lithuania, 100 times Bulgaria and 10000 times China (at that moment Bulgaria was one of the strongest countries in Primera and China was one of the smallest).
P.S. When someone change currency now, that market stops for 3-6 months at least (depends on country). With an exception - Italy. They changed rate buy 33%, stolen from people and was so happy about it... Market drop was only for like 1-2 months.
2. Second moment came as a shadow - very invisible, slow, but constant. To compensate war costs, Poland was buying on local market for PLN. In general it is a smart move - it gives more turnover to your market, attracts more foreign sellers. But one thing is obligatory in this case - buy out PLN surplus. In general this should be like buying for gold, but with benefits.
And they missed that point. It was hard time for Poland (world was attacking their colonies), they had a lot of fights, but less income than expenses. So, loaning from the market was started in very big quantities. Poland was printing like 60 000 PLN every 2-6 weeks. Obviously PLN surplus dropped PLN rate to 0,055 g or so. And at that point market was running only because big turnover - people like to sell, most of them don't know, how to count profitable price, so they don't care about selling price.
3. China became strong, and then weaker, but they had still enough power to attack their "friends" - Poland. Market unavailable, PLN rate down to 0,045 g.

★ PandaLT starting to buy out PLN, rate changes to 0,05 g. Personally for me Poland occupation was one of the best moments - I earned ~500-700 g from PLN re-sell + China market was increased by Poles, so that gave me another 500-700 g of profit.
4. Poland liberated, everyone is happy. PLN rate still about 0,05 g. Poland changes taxes from 2%/2%/20% to 2-3%/2-10%/20% (*), what makes from international market to local market. At this point they had 3 choices:
A. Leave it as it is;
B. Increase taxes and do not spend PLN on local merket (taxes after some time will take out all PLN surplus);
C. Ask people to rescue market and offer guaranties they won't change PLN rate and maybe other stuff (like veto vote in governments economical decisions).
For example i would agreed. I was ready for that, I was keeping 10k g for this unused. Never-mind, they chose B and it was good decision, but it needs a strong will. Finally I started to believe they have a decent economy consultant. And then...
5. I can't believe it. I see it everyday now (for a week now), but I still can't believe... Market is totally abandoned. Most important thing in local market (even more important than small-medium currency surplus) is official currency offer. It's necessary because of 3 main reasons:
A. You let world know your currency rate (main);
B. You give people to buy big amounts of products on your market (for example I did buy-outs of a lot of markets and some of them never sold their products, because there was not enough of local currency on the market);
C. You don't let people speculate with your currency too much.
And what we have now?
Now is about the week, when there is no official PLN offer at 0.0601.... That means Poland now is buying super expensive products (for example iron 0.009 g, Q1 weapons 0.045 g, Q5 weapons 0.23 g, Q5 gifts 0.24 g). Business owners pays salaries, that guaranties them losses (what's funny - they still pay
)
Maybe after some time they will have a local market worth mentioning, but i don't believe it will be soon.

P.S. I did wrote to Poland CP. His answer was something like "write to another guy (I don't care)". Maybe he thought i'm the one, who needs Poland market?
It was most beautiful I could do with a good will. Especially if we know for me (as to LT market manager) every day is superb, when PL does not have a market - I win everyday

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!
In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.
Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.
Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.
In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.
Become an influential politician.
The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.
You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.
The international war.
The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).
At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.
