Report

Hey guys, recently player Dzejkob has published his article about his tool for summarizing dmg in battles.
I thought it may be interesting so I decided to make my own version of such tool (since I don't like JavaScript and I did't want to force Dzejkob to add my ideas and spend his time)

So, let's begin. (Polska wersja na dole)

Description of features

Main idea
The main idea is to show calculated dmg and hits in each round of the battle.
All data is stored in database and it update itself only if someone visit that battle report again.
Benefit? It takes less time for other people to check out the report that is already in database.

Importing
You can import the battle report in two ways.

1st way:
Go to the webpage, paste link to battle (format: http://primera.e-sim.org/battle.html?id=22400) in field "BATTLE LINK" and press "Import".
How much time you gonna wait it depends how many people participated in that battle: e.g. importing large battle between Poland and China (about 600 participants in 12 rounds) took me about 1 min to import entirely, WHILE importing battle between Indonesia and Australia (15 rounds, about 180 participants) took me about 10 sec

2nd way:
You can import the battle by preparing and visiting a link in format http://esim.cf/SERVER,BATTLE_ID
If battle report IS NOT in database - it will be imported,
IF IS - it will updated if number of FINISHED rounds has changed.

IMPORTANT! Rounds that are ongoing ARE NOT updating everytime when someone visit the report page. They will be updated when they're finished and someone visit the report page again.

Nicknames
On battle report page, below defender's flag there is a form used for adding new names to my databases.
I have acquired names of all players that are in all Military units on servers Primera, Suna and Secura on May 6th 2015.
Its about 10.5k players from Primera, almost 8k from Suna and a bit more than 9k from Secura.

BUT I know that's not everyone that are participating in battles (you can still see some numbers like "ID: xxxxxx" instead of names).
Therefore, there is a possibility to add new names to my databases - in case your MU has expanded, or in case you don't have Military Unit you can add yourself and your Party members or even add yourself individually.

Sorting
Below attacker's flag there is a tool to sort results of currently selected battle.
You can sort them by Country ID, Military Unit ID or by Round number.
No results will be shown if no players from specified country or MU participated in battle.
There is also a way to sort results by editing the link.
Format: http://esim.cf/SERVER_NAME,BATTLE_ID,SORT_TYPE-SORT_ID

e.g. http://esim.cf/primera,22400,country-1 will show only participants from Poland in battle 22400 on Primera

Hope you like it.
I did this because I was bored and since it came out pretty well I'm happy to give it to your disposal.
Ofc, If you have some ideas, questions or you'll notice some bug - Let me know via PM or mail contact[at]esim.cf

Opis

Dane sÄ… zapisywane do bazy danych i sÄ… aktualizowane jeÅ›li jest taka potrzeba gdy ktoÅ› odwiedzi stronÄ™ konkretnego raportu ponownie.KorzyÅ›ci z takiego rozwiÄ…zania? Jeżeli raport z bitwy zostaÅ‚ już przez kogoÅ› zaimportowany to nastÄ™pni użytkownicy, którzy bÄ™dÄ… chcieli przejrzeć ten raport zaÅ‚adujÄ… go szybciej.

Importowanie

Możesz importować bitwę przygotowując i odwiedzając link w odpowiednim formacie: http://esim.cf/NAZWA_SERWERA,ID_BITWY
Jeżeli raportu NIE MA w bazie - zostanie zaimportowany,
JEŻELI JEST - zostanie zaktualizowany jeśli ilość ZAKOŃCZONYCH rund uległa zmianie.

WAŻNE! Trwające rundy NIE SĄ aktualizowane za każdym razem gdy ktoś odwiedzi stronę raportu. Zostaną zaktualizowane gdy się skończą i ktoś ponownie odwiedzi raport.

Nazwy graczy

ZrobiÅ‚em to z nudów, a gdy zauważyÅ‚em że caÅ‚kiem nieźle mi wyszÅ‚o to chÄ™tnie oddaje to narzÄ™dzie do waszej dyspozycji. OczywiÅ›cie, jeÅ›li bÄ™dziecie mieć jakieÅ› pomysÅ‚y, pytania, uwagi lub gdy znajdziecie jakiegoÅ› buga - dajcie mi znać na PW lub mail contact[at]esim.cf

About the game:

USA as a world power? In E-Sim it is possible!

In E-Sim we have a huge, living world, which is a mirror copy of the Earth. Well, maybe not completely mirrored, because the balance of power in this virtual world looks a bit different than in real life. In E-Sim, USA does not have to be a world superpower, It can be efficiently managed as a much smaller country that has entrepreneurial citizens that support it's foundation. Everything depends on the players themselves and how they decide to shape the political map of the game.

Work for the good of your country and see it rise to an empire.

Activities in this game are divided into several modules. First is the economy as a citizen in a country of your choice you must work to earn money, which you will get to spend for example, on food or purchase of weapons which are critical for your progress as a fighter. You will work in either private companies which are owned by players or government companies which are owned by the state. After progressing in the game you will finally get the opportunity to set up your own business and hire other players. If it prospers, we can even change it into a joint-stock company and enter the stock market and get even more money in this way.

In E-Sim, international wars are nothing out of the ordinary.

"E-Sim is one of the most unique browser games out there"

Become an influential politician.

The second module is a politics. Just like in real life politics in E-Sim are an extremely powerful tool that can be used for your own purposes. From time to time there are elections in the game in which you will not only vote, but also have the ability to run for the head of the party you're in. You can also apply for congress, where once elected you will be given the right to vote on laws proposed by your fellow congress members or your president and propose laws yourself. Voting on laws is important for your country as it can shape the lives of those around you. You can also try to become the head of a given party, and even take part in presidential elections and decide on the shape of the foreign policy of a given state (for example, who to declare war on). Career in politics is obviously not easy and in order to succeed in it, you have to have a good plan and compete for the votes of voters.

You can go bankrupt or become a rich man while playing the stock market.

The international war.

The last and probably the most important module is military. In E-Sim, countries are constantly fighting each other for control over territories which in return grant them access to more valuable raw materials. For this purpose, they form alliances, they fight international wars, but they also have to deal with, for example, uprisings in conquered countries or civil wars, which may explode on their territory. You can also take part in these clashes, although you are also given the opportunity to lead a life as a pacifist who focuses on other activities in the game (for example, running a successful newspaper or selling products).

At the auction you can sell or buy your dream inventory.

E-Sim is a unique browser game. It's creators ensured realistic representation of the mechanisms present in the real world and gave all power to the players who shape the image of the virtual Earth according to their own. So come and join them and help your country achieve its full potential.
